Uniting Africans Abroad for Collective Development and Shared Prosperity

The Afro Community Development in the Diaspora (AFCODD) is a community-based organization (CBO) dedicated to empowering Africans living abroad through education, advocacy, social welfare, and economic development initiatives.

Operating across the United Arab Emirates — in Dubai, Sharjah, Abu Dhabi, and beyond — AFCODD seeks to harness the collective strength of the African diaspora to bring transformation both abroad and on the African continent.

Our Objectives

1. Establish Modern Educational and Community Infrastructure

SAcademic City Project in Uganda, featuring schools, healthcare centers, business parks, and cultural facilities

2. Mobilize and Empower the Diaspora

Unite at least 1,000 active members within five years to strengthen financial, social, and intellectual collaboration.

3. Build Social Welfare Systems

Support members facing financial hardship, medical emergencies, or legal difficulties

4. Promote Entrepreneurship and Job Creation

Provide tools, training, and networks for Africans abroad to invest and thrive

Our Approach

AFCODD’s development model is grounded in community participation, transparency, and sustainable growth.
We work through structured committees and professional working groups across sectors such as education, finance, real estate, health, and mobilization.
Our projects follow a phase-based implementation framework, ensuring accountability, capacity building, and measurable impact.

Through annual general meetings, independent audits, and digital transparency, we maintain full accountability to our members, partners, and donors
